Beauty Essentials - Budget Session Feb 2o11.
St.Moriz Fake Tan Mousse.
Ok, so I am a fan of a nice fake tan. I usually use Superdrug's own brand Solait Lotion in medium/dark. However, I was recommended this stuff by a friend of mine who is a beauty therapist. It goes on easily, and unlike other tans I have used in the past it doesnt take long to dry, and only requires a couple of applications for a real sunkissed look. As for the smell, its not too bad...but show me a fake tan that smells amazing. At less than £3-00 it really is a bargain. I haven't myself ever used St.Tropez, aside from getting it at a salon, however my friend who spray tans for a living swears by this particular product when you are looking for a good product to meet a tight budget.

Burt's Bee's Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil
I have been using this little beauty for years now. Not only does it smell gorgeous, but has a light moisturising feel to it. My lips feel fab as soon as I put it on. Great for cold weather, ensuring you always have a perfect pout. Although it is a small product (4.25g) it really does last for a very long time. Another amazing thing about this brand is they don't test on animals...so if your passionate about this cause check out their range as I have had a few bits from them and they haven't disappointed me yet!

Dove Burst Bodywash - Nectarine & White Ginger
Normally, I'm a creamy shea butter or coconut type of bodywash person, but I adore the smell of this product and my skin feels so fresh and clean afterwards. It says it is a nourishing bodywash and it really tells the truth, I get dry skin quite easily and my skin feels soft, smooth and hydrated with this. I would recommend Dove products to anyone, they have scents to suit everyone and are very well priced for the quality.
Find at: Sainsburys - Limited offer £1.00, usually £2.00. Found at most supermarkets, Boots, Superdrug etc.
Radox Shower Smoothies Tropical Tranquillity
This product really is my all time fave. A luxurious coconut shower smoothie with crushed almonds & myrrh. It is thick and creamy, and smells like a holiday in a bottle. If you like this type of scent in a product I cannot explain to you how much you will love this. I orginally bought this as it was on offer about three years ago now, and I have been a loyal customer ever since.
Find at: Most Supermarkets, Boots/Superdrug etc. Currently on offer at Tesco half price which makes it £1.35 but usually priced between £2.70 - £3.00
L'Oreal Absolute Eye & Lip Make-Up Remover
I found this little bottle of magic after using a similar product by Clarins. Not having the funds to buy the designer one at that particular time...I spent a long time searching for something just as effective for less.
This formula effectively removes waterproof eye make up and is great at doing its job without too much rubbing, just a few wipes and all is removed. I also have sensitive skin on my face, and this product is perfect for it. I tried a similar product by Garnier but it was too harsh and didn't do the job half as well. If your on a budget and want a make-up remover that makes the task easy, then do not hesitate to purchase this. L'Oreal have two similar products, the one is use is double the price of the other but please let me assure you it really is worth the extra couple of pounds. It has a concentrated blue formula and after a quick shake all you need is a slight amount squirted onto a cotton pad and you have fresh skin without a trace of make-up....job done.

Alberto Vo5 Deep Nourishing Conditioner
This conditioner is actually amazing. I have quite fine hair which is slightly dry/frizzy without a good conditioner, and a quick ghd! I was introduced to this by a friend who uses it for her hair extensions (which I have also personally done and was very impressed with the results) so thought I'd give it a go. The only time I have ever had such smooth looking hair without it being over-weighed by product has been in a salon. It isn't too thick, as some that are make my hair look greasy quickly. It really does the job amazingly and is so cheap I can't believe I get this quality for such little money. I am a big fan of salon products (not so much the price tag that comes with) but I love this conditioner and nearly had a panic attack last time I ran out. A must have for your hair. I have also tried the smooth elixir conditioner and that is just as good, but as my hair gets a lot of heat abuse the nourishing conditioner suits my hair type better.
Find at: Most Supermarkets and Health and Beauty Stores. Currently on offer at Asda £1.00
