Scent-sational

From since I can remember, I have been obsessed with perfumes. The amount of times my poor Mother would have to apologise red-faced as my eight year old self would be running around Debenhams spraying about eleven different scents all over myself, is more than I can account for! However, this has indeed made me into somewhat a perfume conisseur....I like sweet type perfumes, vanilla undertones and slight floral notes. Below is a list of my favourite perfumes and the best explanation's of what they smell like/contain.

Ralph Lauren - Ralph

A combination of sparkling green apple leaves, zesty orange mandarin, pink magnolia, purple freesia and soft blue musk that explodes into a colorful floral fragrance. I love this perfume as it has a particular freshness about it, it's long lasting and gets compliments from both females and males.

Marc Jacobs - Daisy

Launched by leading fashion designer and celebrity favourite Marc Jacobs, this is a sunny, pure and free-spirited fragrance. With two foam daisies on the lid, this fragrance will really stand out on any dressing table. Perfect for feminine women and Marc Jacobs fans. Fragrance includes; Wild strwaberries, violet and white woods. A great carefree scent.

Escada - Magnetism 

A real stylish fragrance, notes include Leafy Greens, Basil, Freesia, Black Currant, Plumberry, Jasmine, Immortelle, Muguet, Blond Woods, Iris, Almond Blossom, Amber, Musk, Cashmere Vanilla and Sandalwood. A really unique scent.

Kylie Minogue - Sweet Darling 

Darling unleashes an essence of femininity and sensuality in a fusion of sweet cotton candy accord, juicy passion fruit, opulent freesia, and boronia. The harmony is a complex blend of Australian sandalwood, rich patchouli and voluptuous vanilla.

Vera Wang - Princess

I rarely copy and past product descriptions as I think its lazy. However, I love this so please excuse me this once....Radiant and whimsical. A charming, fruity vanilla. Sparkling in a breeze of Lady Apple and Waterlilly. Sweeping her into Ripe Pink Guava and Tahitian Tiare Flower. Tempted to taste wih Dark Chocolate and Pink Frosting Accord, Forbidden Woods and Chiffon Vanilla. Jewel cut heart shaped bottle topped with a gold crown cap adorned with purple gems. Vera Wang Pricess is for those 'Born To Rule'. The contradiction of a modern day princess. Playful and unpredicatable. Uniquely feminine with an edge. A spirit for adventure.

Paris Hilton - Paris Hilton

Please don't think I one of those people who buys celebrity products, I only indulge in such behaviour if the product is really good. This perfume is one of those cheap and cheerful scents that can take you through times where a small budget is to be adhered to. Notes include frozen apple, peach nectar, sparkling muguet, freesia, mimosa, jasmine, tuberose, sandalwood, ylang ylang, and oakmoss. 

Cacharal - Amor Amor  

Amor Amor by Cacharel is a sparkling fruity floral blend of mandarin, jasmine and vanilla, that celebrates love and seduction. This is my long-time fave. I prefer it as an evening scent, and be careful with spray-age, too much and its overpowering. However, the strength means a small bottle really does go a long way. A great perfume for dates too, always getting complimented from male friends and boyfriends alike.

My place or yours Gina is the scent of provocative, modern and feminine apartment, composed of oriental-woody notes such as: pink pepper, bergamot, tangerine, peony, raspberry, lily, Tonka, vanilla and patchouli.
